Wooden Houses in Morbihan: A Study on Minimalist Luxury

Treh Koh House

Nestled in Vieux-Passage, this 35 m² studio-house is much more than a compact structure; it's a manifesto for conscious architecture. As architects in Morbihan, we conceived this project as a dialogue between the coastal landscape and a modern vision of living. Here, the timber-framed house becomes a refuge where every square meter is optimized to offer a serene and seamless living experience.

The harmony between ecological construction in Brittany and interior design.

A truly eco-friendly building in Brittany, the Maison du Treh Koh prioritizes a bio-based approach. From its plant-based insulation to its green roof, each component was chosen for its durability and low environmental impact. This project demonstrates that a bio-based house can combine thermal performance with high-end aesthetics, meeting the demands of the Morbihan landscape.

The art of sculpting space through matter and light.

The strength of this project lies in the fusion between the structure and its layout. As interior design experts, we conceived the spaces to breathe with the rhythm of the day.

But the real magic happens at sunset. We paid particular attention to the nighttime ambiance: thanks to subtle, integrated lighting, the house is transformed. The textures of the wood are revealed under a warm light, creating an intimate and protective atmosphere. This duality of light defines the DNA of Atelier Glaz.
